Academics

At McAdenville Elementary, we are proud of our strong academic program that helps students learn and grow every day. Over the past several years, our school has met growth in both reading and math on the North Carolina End-of-Grade tests, showing that our students are making steady progress.

Students have opportunities to take part in academic activities outside the classroom, including Battle of the Books, math competitions, robotics, and literary events. These programs help build teamwork, problem-solving, and a love for learning.

Each week, students also enjoy hands-on learning in our Innovation Station. This special time includes science experiments, building with LEGOs, and other creative projects that make learning fun and engaging.
