McAdenville is in the top 10 for highest student proficiency among all schools, and we are tied for third among all elementary schools for highest student proficiency. We also met our academic growth expectations, we earned a B letter grade, which is difficult to achieve, and we increased our school performance score – up seven points!

Providing care for students at school
The image depicts a smartphone screen displaying a doctor's portrait, surrounded by various medical icons and the Kintegra Health logo.

Thanks to our partnership with Kintegra Health, we offer a telehealth clinic here at our school. Students, who are experiencing a minor illness or condition, can be seen by a medical provider virtually. This allows us to provide care for students without them having to leave school to go to the doctor.

Why McAdenville Elementary School?

Four reasons why we are the right school for your child.

Academics

We're proud of our strong academic program. In recent years, our students have met growth in both reading and math on the North Carolina End-of-Grade tests.

Community School

McAdenville Elementary is a true neighborhood school. We work closely with the town, local businesses, churches, our active Parent Teacher Organization (PTO), and the McAdenville Women’s Club. These partnerships help support our students and create a strong connection between the school and the community.

A Bright Tradition

Each year, one student takes part in a special tradition to “flip the switch” and turn on the Christmas lights, kicking off the holiday season in our community.

Each year a student at McAdenville Elementary has the opportunity to %22flip the switch%22 and turn on the lights to Christmastown U.S.A.

Clubs and Activities

Our students take part in academic clubs, including Battle of the Books, math masters, robotics and literary events. They also enjoy hands-on experiences in our Innovation Station through science experiments, LEGO building and other creative projects that make learning fun and engaging.
